Why You Need 14 Days and 50 Sales Before Posting Work

Posting work on a marketplace should require evidence that a real business is actually operating.

One of the most important parts of a work marketplace is making sure the businesses posting opportunities are genuine. If anyone could create an account today and immediately post jobs, tasks or requests, the system would be much easier to abuse.

The Rule Is Simple

Before a merchant can post work on Knomart, the business must be actively using the system for at least 14 days and must have recorded 50 or more sales.

The same rule applies to Free and paid merchants.

Why 14 Days?

Fourteen days creates a short but meaningful history of activity. A business that is genuinely operating has time to use the system, record transactions and establish that it is not simply an account created for the purpose of posting an opportunity.

The rule is not designed to make legitimate businesses wait unnecessarily. It is designed to make the marketplace harder to abuse.

Why 50 Sales?

The sales requirement adds another piece of evidence: actual commercial activity.

A real shop making regular sales can reach the threshold through normal business operations. Someone registering only to post a job or task has a much harder path.

This creates an important asymmetry: the requirement is relatively straightforward for a real merchant but tedious for someone trying to create a fake business presence.

Free Merchants Have the Same Rule

The verification threshold does not depend on whether a merchant pays for Standard or Premium.

A Free merchant can use Knomart, build their records and eventually qualify to post work in exactly the same way.

That matters because the marketplace should be built around real business activity, not around who can afford a higher subscription.

What Can a Merchant Eventually Post?

Once eligible, a merchant can use the opportunity system for needs such as jobs, tasks, services, supply requests, technology requests and micro-tasks.

The goal is to connect genuine business needs with members who can provide useful work.

A Small Rule Protects a Bigger Marketplace

Fifty sales and fourteen days may look like a simple requirement, but the principle behind it is important.

Knomart should not create a marketplace where anyone can appear to be a business simply because they created an account. The merchant should first demonstrate that they are actually operating.

Build the business first. Then post the opportunity.
