The merchant chooses an agent. That agent signs the merchant, helps with the installation and becomes the first point of support for that business.
This is important because the relationship does not end when the software is installed. The signing agent supports their own merchants as part of the model.
What Happens on Day One?
The exact workflow can depend on the merchant and the setup required, but the purpose of the first day is straightforward: get the business started and make sure the owner can begin using the system.
For a new merchant, that means working with the agent through the initial setup rather than being left alone with a new piece of software.
The setup fee exists for this human work. For Free it is $10, Standard is $20 and Premium is $40, and the agent keeps the setup fee.
