How a badge is earned, and what makes it hold up
A badge is a certification, not a participation trophy. It comes from an assessment drawn from a question pool that ordinary test and practice never touch, and it doesn't last forever unchecked.
Quiz
A calibrated multiple-choice round establishes baseline knowledge before you sit the formal assessment.
Scenario
Situational questions test judgment against realistic client and workplace situations, not just recall.
Practical
A hands-on task or work sample proves you can execute, not just answer questions about the skill.
Free to attempt
Training for every badge is included at every tier, including Free membership. No course is a prerequisite to sit the exam — you can walk in cold if you already know the material. The exam attempt itself is $5, cash only.
Expiring and revocable
A badge reflects what you could demonstrate at the time you sat it. It can lapse and it can be revoked if the standard behind it is no longer met — a badge is evidence a merchant can trust, not a permanent title.
