Why Knomart Publishes Outcomes , Including the People Who Quit

It is easy to publish the stories that look good.

A member gets a job. Someone earns income. A business grows. A new skill badge is achieved.

That is why Knomart's transparency model is designed to include the distribution — including the people who quit.

Success Stories Are Not the Whole Picture

Imagine a community reporting that 100 people joined and 20 people found work.

That sounds useful.

But what happened to the other 80?

Did they stay active? Did they build skills? Did they stop applying? Did they leave? Did they pause? Did they simply decide that Knomart was not for them?

Without that information, a success number can easily create the wrong impression.

The Distribution Tells a Bigger Story

Publishing outcomes means looking beyond the people at the top of the results.

The community should be able to understand the spread of outcomes — not just the best examples.

Why Include People Who Quit?

Because leaving is also an outcome.

Someone may join, explore the platform and decide that it is not right for them. Another person may pause because their circumstances change. Someone else may stop participating after discovering that the opportunities available do not match their current skills.

Those experiences should not be quietly removed from the picture.

If only successful members remain in the statistics, the statistics become a selection of survivors rather than a picture of the community.

Transparency Is Not the Same as Promotion

A transparent system cannot choose its numbers only when they make the organisation look good.

Sometimes the results will be encouraging.

Sometimes they will reveal a problem that needs attention.

Both are useful.

The purpose of publishing outcomes is therefore not to prove that Knomart always works for everyone. It is to give members, merchants and other observers evidence they can use to understand what is actually happening.

What Knomart Should Learn From the Numbers

Publishing outcomes is valuable only if the organisation is willing to learn from them.

If many members leave after encountering the same problem, that is information.

If a particular course produces poor results, that is information.

If opportunities consistently attract too many applicants, that is information too.

The Point Is Accountability

Knomart's community model is built around a simple principle: do not publish only the evidence that supports your preferred story.

Publish enough of the distribution for people to see what is really happening — including the members who did not continue.

Because a community becomes more trustworthy when it is willing to show not only who succeeded, but also who left, what happened along the way and what the organisation learns from it.

The goal is not a perfect-looking dashboard. The goal is an honest one.
